Our plants
Variegated Kerria zone 4-9
Yellow rose-like flowers in spring, delicate white
edged leaves the rest of the time. Green stems in
winter. Black walnut and shade tolerant. Very
airy form. One of my favorites. They are slightly
greener than the photo.

Gold Mound Spirea zone 4-8
Small lime green leaves all summer, pink flowers
in spring. Very compact shape. Brightens up an
area. One of the favorite spireas. Some cuttings
are only 3 inches high on this delicate plant, but
with awesome root systems and multi-branches.

Gold Flame Spirea zone 4-9
Vivid rust colored leaves in spring and fall, pink
flowers in summer attract butterflies. Good heat
and drought tolerance. Picture is the start of fall.
Cuttings average 7 inches high.
400 available
only 60 cents each or 100 for $55.
Kumson Forsythia hardy to zone 5.
If you are going to have a forsythia, have one
with multi-season interest! Insect and deer
resistant, veins in leaves turn gold in sun, silver in
shade. Still has the great spring flowers of yellow
along the stems.

Pink Ice Vanhoutti spirea zone 4-8
Rare plant. Colors similar to dappled willow, but
more delicate, more compact size, with white
flowers like the bridal veil spirea. Pictured here is
it’s summer look – it has more pink in spring. Stays
a dwarf size at 3 ft. Cuttings average 4 inches.

Dwarf Korean Lilac zone 3-7
Blooms after common lilac, smaller rounder
leaves. Attracts hummingbirds/butterflies, grows to
only 6 ft max, does not sucker.

Cotoneaster ‘Tom Thumb’ zones 5-8
One of the best cotoneasters. Full sun/partial
shade, flowers, no insect concerns, great shape –
stays low and very compact. Very glossy dark
leaves. Cuttings average 4 in. Very hardy without
getting out of hand!

Hosta division
Unknown variety – 30+ year old heritage type.
Medium sized, green leaves, pale purple flowers,
blooms mid-July in zone 5. Very hardy.

No picture at this time. Chinese Niellia
Rarely seen outside botanical gardens. Great leaf
shapes, pink flowers on racemes. Tolerates part
shade and a variety of soils. Exfoliating bark.
Similar to nine bark. Propagated well.

Vanhoutte Spirea zones 3-8
The classic bridal veil spirea in old fashion
gardens. Can take a wide variety of soils, and sun.
6-8 ft with wide arching branches. Can be used as
a screen. Rapid grower.
250 available
70 cents each
Lily of the Valley zone 2-7
Makes an 8 inch high carpet of green for most of
the year. In spring it has very sweet smelling
flowers.

Single and double orange daylilies
Doubles are pictured here, heritage variety 70+
years old. Fill in an area quickly for
weed/erosion control. 60 cents each.
I was told by owner/horticulturist that these were Beatrix Farrard, but no proof. That variety is known for it’s larger flowers.
